Price and payment:
The maximum price for a kindergarten place is NOK3 230,00 per month from 1 January 2021. Food is extra and costs NOK380,00 per month. 50 % moderation is given for child no. 2, and if you have more than two children of kindergarten age, the third kindergarten place is free.
From 2021 onwards, a fee of NOK300,00 will also be introduced for late pick-up (per half hour started).
You apply for a kindergarten place in Visma Flyt Barnehage (Kindergarten). This is a digital parenting platform where you as a parent log on using MinID or BankID.
If you do not have a Norwegain birth number yet, and thus not a BankID or MinID, the kindergarten administration in the municipality can submit an application on your behalf.
In the parent portal you can:
• Apply for a kindergarten place
• Overwrite/delete application
• Receive an offer of a kindergarten place
• Answer the offered kindergarten place
• Approve and confirm that the articles of association have been read and understood
• See an overview of your children and information about the kindergarten/place type
• Termination of place
Eventually there will be functionality for:
• Apply for a reduced parental payment
• Apply for free core time
• Apply for leave
• Submit a complaint
• Completion of consents
